At Roots of Hope, our mission is to empower children in poverty in Ghana by providing essential resources—food, clean clothing, and school supplies—to unlock a brighter future. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2025, we are committed to addressing the urgent needs of the 73% of Ghanaian children facing multidimensional poverty (UNICEF, 2023), ensuring they have the tools to learn, grow, and thrive.
In Ghana, multidimensional poverty means children often lack access to basic necessities like nutritious food, proper clothing, and educational materials. This creates barriers to learning and perpetuates cycles of hardship. We believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. That’s why we’re starting in Ghana, working with local partners to deliver impactful support where it’s needed most.
We provide school supplies like backpacks, pens, and notebooks to ensure children have the tools they need to excel in education.
We distribute food and clean clothing to address immediate needs, supporting children’s health and self-esteem.
Through distribution events, we connect families with resources and opportunities, fostering a brighter future for entire communities.
While our current efforts are centered in Ghana, our vision is global. We aim to expand our proven model to other underserved regions, planting seeds of hope wherever children need them most.
